Just testing to see if the board is getting its bugs worked out. I was unable to post a new topic before and now it seems to be working okay. Also, is it just me or does this server seem slow? I have high speed internet access and it sometimes takes forEVer to load a page; Even longer to use the back button, sometimes.

Yes, definately slow! It also erased me so I had to reregister... Now I can't figure out how to change my password. I hate change... : )

New message board is "Hella Slow". Also, no warning or anything about the change. Just wait and see if it will improve or what.

The site seems slower through my T-1 line up here at work, but it is *excruciatingly slow* at home on the ol' 56K modem...

Two new versions of Windows have come out since I accessed the board!
Seriously, sometimes it loads almost instantly and other times I wait-----and wait. I keep thinking its my computer but after reading the last few posts maybe not

Pretty darn slow here too, via my cable modem.

Just so everybody knows.... I had absolutely nothing to do with the changes and didn't know they were coming. Maybe the new Hostboard service will be better, because the old one did go down from time to time and had performance issues. I'm sure the Hostboard administrator had his good reasons for the "upgrade." I'm crossing my fingers it will get speedier as he works out the kinks.

Now... I need to figure out how to work the new settings to get my graphics, links, fonts and colors back sorta like I had them. I hope I have that banner backed up locally somewhere... [img]eek.gif[/img]

Hey, I LIKE the new color scheme (or lack thereof?).

Anyway, I have a embarrasing and potentially humbling question. I noticed that I have, like, a five star rating for some reason. In fact, I seem to be the only person posting here with a rating of any kind.

I just noticed that Matt also has 4.5 stars or something. A moment ago they weren't there.

Hmmmm.....

Any idea where this rating comes from? I don't think it has anything to do with the number of posts because I browsed around and people with far more posts than me have fewer or no stars. What the **** did I do to deserve a five star rating and what does it mean?
